INFORMATION AND EQUIPMENT LIST
The Webelos Campout is an important part of our camping program. It also serves as our main recruiting tool for new scouts by offering the Webelos from local Packs a chance to understand some of the fun of being a Boy Scout. It also helps them to fulfill one of the their Webelos requirements by spending the day with us. This year we will camp at Snow Hill in Dover. Many of us have never camped at Snow Hill and it offers plenty of interesting terrain to explore, great hiking and a fantastic view of the Charles River valley. You won’t want to miss it.
The
PLC has an active day planned for Saturday, including scout craft
demonstrations, a short but interesting hike, and the usual fun and games. It is important that we get a good turnout
from the troop to help staff all of the scout craft demonstrations and to help
the Webelos learn about our troop from one of you!! This is our last campout until January. Please try to make it.
We
will assemble at the scout shed behind the legion at 7:00 PM on Friday. We will return there and be ready to leave
by 11:30AM Sunday.
